After-School Mandarin Teacher
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead daily instruction, lesson plan implementation, and classroom management for K-5 after-school immersion programs.
- Design engaging language games and cultural activities (e.g., Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival).
- Maintain excellent daily communication with school principals, homeroom teachers, and parents.
Requirements:
- Native-level Mandarin proficiency with clear pronunciation. PSC certification highly preferred.
- Fluent English communication skills to ensure smooth coordination with school staff and parents.
- Passionate about early childhood education, energetic, patient, and skilled in classroom management.
- Prior experience in US local after-school programs or immersion schools is a plus.
- Must pass required background checks, including Livescan fingerprinting and TB clearance.
After-School Teaching Assistant
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with daily campus pickup, ensuring student safety during the transition.
- Guide students with regular English/Math homework and help distribute daily healthy snacks.
- Collaborate in the immersion environment to maintain classroom order and campus safety.
Requirements:
- Good bilingual communication skills (English & Mandarin); able to understand basic Mandarin.
- Responsible, punctual, enjoys interacting with children, and strong team player.
- Must pass Livescan fingerprint background check and TB clearance.
