Unity Mandarin Enrichment Center (同心中文) is a San Francisco-based nonprofit Mandarin enrichment program founded by experienced Mandarin educators, youth program leaders, and SFUSD parent volunteers. As a San Francisco parent raising bilingual children, Amy brings firsthand experience navigating Mandarin pathway placement, heritage language development, and the academic decisions many multilingual families face. Her eldest son earned a perfect score on the official SFUSD Mandarin Pathway Assessment during his sixth-grade transition and continued into the Mandarin Dual Language Immersion pathway at Aptos Middle School. He is a National First-Class Educator, holds PSC Grade 1-A Putonghua certification, and has published more than 50 books, including language textbooks and literary works.
